Hi! My name is Wendy.

I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian, also known as The Kind Dietitian. I am passionate about helping my clients build a healthy relationship with their body and food.

I believe that food is more than nutrition. It is enjoyment, culture and social connections. But it isn’t guilt or stress.

I would love to show you how to eat well and feel great without restrictive dieting and food rules.

Our process

  • Health & Diet Assessment

    At your initial consultation, dietitian Wendy will conduct a thorough health & nutrition assessment of you, including medical history, medications, blood tests, gut symptoms, lifestyles, dietary intake, eating habits, food preferences and intolerances.

  • Personalised Nutrition Plan

    Based on your assessment, dietitian Wendy will work with you to create a personalised nutrition plan to help you achieve your goals. This will include practical strategies and educational resources tailored to your needs.

  • Ongoing Support

    During your review consultations, dietitian Wendy will discuss your progress and help you develop solutions to your barriers towards change.

  • MedicareRebates:

    Rebates of $60.35 (as of July 2024) are available for clients with an eligible referral (up to 5 visits). To receive rebates, you must be referred by your GP via Chronic Disease Management Plans, which are also known as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Team Care Arrangements (TCAs). Speak to your GP to determine if you are eligible.

  • Private Health Funds:

    The amount you can claim on your health insurance for dietetic services depends on your insurer and your level of cover. Contact your insurer to find out.

    The full fee is paid on the day. Medicare/ Private Health then pay you the rebate shortly after.

  • DVA Gold Card Holder (and White Card Holders with conditions requiring Dietetics care), are bulk billed at The Kind Dietitian. You will need a D904 referral from your GP before your appointment with us.

    Please contact us to book your appointment.

  • We understand that unplanned issue can arise, and you may need to cancel/ reschedule an appointment. Should this occur, we respectfully ask you to notify us via email/ phone at least 4 hours before your scheduled appointment.

    Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 4 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.
